How to make Cinnamon Side Pork | CrossFit 1080Are you looking for an alternative to bacon while you are on your Whole30 or are just looking for something new to try? In this video, I show you how to make cinnamon side pork. This makes for a great side dish to your eggs and sweet potato hash browns or on top of a chicken or burger lettuce wrap.

 

The recipe is as follows:
  • Side Pork (visit your local butcher and ask for side pork sliced like bacon)
  • Coconut oil
  • Sea salt
  • Ground cinnamon
First, turn your stove on the medium – medium/high and put about 3 TBSP of coconut oil in it. Nest, put a layer of side pork in the pan. Cover the side pork with salt and cinnamon. flip the side pork right away and cover the other side in salt and cinnamon as well. ¬†Cook for about 10 minutes or until the side pork is no longer white. It may take a few try’s to figure out if you like this style of bacon closer to undercooked or extra crispy.
